I'm Linda. I live in Augusta, GA, USA. I retired in September as a United Methodist Pastor. Prior to that I was a litigation attorney specializing in aviation and environmental litigation. I have traveled to all 50 states and 31 foreign countries, but I've only been to Italy once. I always thought when I retired I would do two things quickly: return to Italy for an extended trip, and take courses in art history, especially of the renaissance, which I've always been interested in studying, but Covid got in the way. I thought I would take the courses in a classroom. I never dreamed I would be studying "in Florence" instead. This is wonderful. I've visited the Duomo, Baptistry, Uffizi, and Accademia in Florence; the Sistine Chapel, St. Peters, and Vatican museums in Rome; Venice's Doges' Palace and St. Mark; and spent some lovely days in Stresa on Lago Maggiore. I'm looking forward to learning with Elaine and getting to know all of you.
