I first visited Italy in 2004 and fell hopelessly and completely in love with Bella Italia! I returned in 2006, twice in 2007, 2009, 2014, 2017, and 2019. My love has only grown with each visit. Though travel to Italy has been elusive since 2020, thanks to Elaine - her passion, depth of knowledge and, most especially, her incomparable gift of magically bringing us along with her virtually - my love has continued to grow. And also thanks to Elaine, I have found that there are MANY others who share my passion for Italy! I long for the day when I can, once again, return and experience this incredible country with Elaine. Given the chance, I'd never leave.
